E-Tasks app for iPhone and iPad

Many people use their email inbox as their reminder method by sending themselves email messages and maintaining these unread messages as their so called "pending to-do" list. Opening the email application on the phone, typing a destination email address, and making sure the subject is consistent can be time consuming and error prone.

The E-Tasks app automates this process and allows the user to very quickly send themselves an email with a consistent subject as a reminder.

The subject of the email will always be structured with key words and thus filters can be created on the email application to group all the pending tasks together into a view, e.g. all unread messages with the subject starting with TODO:
